DAY ONE

Visit one or all of these working whiskey making factories and if you are still in the mood a visit to The Old Jameson Distillery across the River Liffey in Bow Street is a must. The Liberties was a renowned whiskey production hub in the 1800s and this area of Dublin is also home to the world famous Guinness Brewery, Ireland’s top visitor attraction with over 1.8 million visitors a year. Then during the afternoon you can take a tour around the Christchurch area where you can spot some of the oldest and incredible Dublin architecture. You must also make a visit to St Patrick’s Cathedral which is the largest and the tallest church in Ireland dating back to 1191. Also you can check out the early Art Nouveau Iveagh Baths building which is a modern Dublin architectural masterpiece. Besides that there is the Christ Church Cathedral the oldest building in Dublin, St Audeon’s, Dublin Castle, City Hall and the Chester Beatty Library at Dublin Castle as well as Trinity College.
Make your evening exciting by sampling modern Irish cuisine, in any number of award winning restaurants and end your day trip with a pint of The Blackstuff as Dubliners affectionately call Guinness in one of our world famous pubs such as Mulligan’s on Poolbeg Street, The Stag’s Head on Dame Court, or our personal favorite here at LfL The Palace Bar on Fleet Street.
DAY TWO
Begin your second day of your Dublin Weekend Getaway with a drive along the coast out to the village of Howth home of Dublin’s fishing fleet. Enjoy Howth Castle, the breathtaking views of Dublin Bay and the City and an amazing seafood lunch along the quayside. Your chauffeur will take you back to the city via Malahide Castle where you can visit the amazing landmark. The afternoon can be spent shopping in the Dublin’s shopping districts or for some serious shopping Kildare Village outlets are an hour’s drive from Dublin.
